Knowing what not to ask is just as important as knowing what to ask. In an Akashic Records reading, there are boundaries to honour because the Records are meant for spiritual growth, healing, and alignment, not fortune-telling or control. 

Here are types of questions you generally shouldn’t ask: 

• Yes/No or predictive future questions (e.g., “Will I get the job?”). 

The Records guide your choices and alignment, not fixed outcomes. 

• Medical, legal, or financial advice (e.g., “Do I have cancer?” or “Which stock should I invest in?”). 

The Records aren’t a substitute for professional expertise. 

• Questions about other people’s private records (e.g., “What’s going on in my ex’s life?”). 

You can only access your own Records. 

• Ego-driven or controlling questions (e.g., “How can I make this person love me?”). 

The Records support growth, not manipulation. 

Instead, the most powerful questions are open-ended, soul-focused, and empowering (e.g., “What is the lesson in this relationship?” or “How can I align more fully with my purpose?”). 

• Avoid consuming alcohol or taking recreational drugs for at least 48 hours before your reading.

• Set an intention – Think about what areas of life you’d like clarity in (relationships, career, purpose, healing). 

• Prepare open-ended questions – Frame them around growth, alignment, or lessons, not yes/no or predictions. 

• Stay hydrated + light – Drink water, eat lightly; being clear in body helps with receiving guidance.

• Come with an open mind – Release expectations about what the Records “should” say.  

• Take notes – Insights often unfold more deeply later.  

• Allow emotions – Sometimes memories, realizations, or healing responses come up. 

• Integrate – Journal about what resonated and how you might act on the guidance.  

• Rest + reflect – Give yourself quiet time after; the energy of the Records can feel expansive and grounding.  

• Trust the process – Insights may continue to unfold in the days/weeks following.

Instead of asking “Should I…?” or “Will this happen?”, use “What would be most aligned?” or “What do I need to understand about…?” 

During your Akashic Records reading, I may use Light Language.

Light Language doesn’t follow grammar, vocabulary, or structure like English or German.

Instead, it can be expressed as sounds, tones, syllables, clicks, written symbols and or hand gestures. 

The reason I use Light Language is that it helps bring through guidance from the Akashic Records not just as information, but as healing energy. It can clear old patterns, activate your gifts, and anchor the wisdom we receive so it’s felt in your heart and body. 

Think of it as a frequency transmission, helping you to receive the messages on a deeper level, and supporting your Soul in remembering its own truth.
